A witch doctor in Kakamega county has hit the headlines after he deployed a swarm of bees to arrest a notorious gang of livestock thieves that has been wreaking havoc in the region and giving the residents sleepless nights.
Area residents can now sigh relief after the Hillary Momanyi, John Bukhazio and Winston Mutiele all in their twenties were mobbed by a swarm of bees as they bleated like goats after stealing from a villager in Emusanda.

The owner of the animal Tolibert Imbiakh had visited the witch doctor upon discovering that his goat had been stolen and was assured that the perpetrators would surface after two days.
True to the witch doctor's word, who had performed some rituals and uttered some incarnations at Tolibert's home, the three thieves appeared carrying the goat and calf on their shoulders and arrested by bees on their hands.
The owner of the goats positively identified his animals as the witch doctor who took possession of his bees and handed the thieves to the men in uniform.
