Since Friday night, Nairobi City has been experiencing heavy rainfall. Several sections along Mombasa have experienced flashy floods that has left many motorists stranded and several of them counting losses after their motor vehicles got stuck.

The construction of the Nairobi Expressway is the main reason behind the poor road sections. Experts have termed it as a Clean engineering fail and Mother nature has hit hard Again.

What are the dangers of these engeering fails? Water driving is blind, you can't correctly guess where there are holes or the state of the road. This exposes motorists to getting stuck in a pool of water or worse their motor vehicles can easily get overturn.
The Nairobi Expressway has decimated service lanes on Mombasa road past the Airport and made sections very dangerous to drive on. There are sections where 2 way service lanes disappear into a 1 way highway.
