According to Kavetsa , a woman who was on the passenger seat snatched her two-week-old baby at the Wareng bus stage in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County while she was on her way to see her mother in who stays in Kericho
“The engine was on and the rider even said hello to me. I did not know what was his intentions,” she Kavetsa.
Kavetsa said that the suspect was dressed in a black apparel when she snatched the baby and varnished.
The victim has since created a missing person’s poster of her son with her phone number, but all has been in vain since no one has called or given her any information that may be of help.
She further said that the calls she has been receiving are from scammers who are out to swindle money from her, claiming that they would assist bring her son back.
She reported the incident to the police and is still waiting to see if anything positive will come from there.
