Property Worth Thousands Reduced Into Ashes In Migadini Mombasa

11 families from Migadini Mombasa have spend the night in cold after their house assets worth thousands of money were reduced into ashes by the fire inferno, that occurred last night at 1:00am.

The families were living in a 11-roomed house and didn't manage to recover any item from the building. The fire fighters arrived earlier in the scene but could not help,as all the street roads were blocked by buildings such that only a little space was available. That forced the residents of the area to use the buckets to fetch the water then rush to bring the fire down.

According to area chief Ben Mutunga Baraza, there was no casualties recorded during the incident, and no items were saved.

Baraza has asked the county government of Mombasa, through the ministry of planning, to ensure that, all buildings constructed have left a space for use in case of emergency as roads.

What's your take on this?
