There was a sombre mood in Boigesa Village during the burial of the five members of a family from Kisii County who perished in a road accident on Christmas Day.
Emotional moments were witnessed during the burial ceremony which was held at Queens of Apostles Parish Church in Itumbe.
Bundi's sister also died a week after the accident while receiving treatment in the Coast General Hospital while his two sons survived however,they suffered broken legs.They are recuperating in Coast General Hospital.Several people consoled with the family as some politicians promised to support the two sons.
Five caskets carrying the bodies of Ronald Bundi,his wife and three daughters were laid side by side during the burial ceremony.Hundreds of the villagers attended the burial service led by the Kisii Catholic Diocese Bishop,Joseph Mairura.
The bodies were laid at their family home in one grave which had been partitioned into five sections.
May their souls rest in peace.
