Ken Muyundo's mother has explained how the July incident where he shot a woman after confusing her with killer cop Caroline Kagongo and later got charged with attempted murder might have led to his untimely demise.
According to a report by TV47, the distraught mother said that after the incident, her 58-year-old son started looking disturbed and turned into alcoholism.
Before that, he had contracted COVID-19 and was on medication because of a blood clot issue.
Muyundo was lonely and had no one to confide in since his wife had travelled to the United States.
Muyundo's body was found inside his bedroom with alcohol and drugs besides it.
His coallegues who were scheduled to go with him for an outside catering business got suspicious after he failed to turn up and pick his calls. His mother broke into the house with the help of neighbours.
Kennedy's body is now at Cherangany Nursing home mortuary awaiting autopsy.
