84-year old mother us living in fear over losing her land to her son.
Ms Mary Ciambaka who hails from Kathigiri in Chuka town, Tharaka Nithi county has revealed that she won a case over the land and court directed her son Alex Kinyua, a retired police officer to keep off the land.
However, Alex appealed the Ruling. Mary is now worried that she might lose the case. She has no money to hire a private lawyer since she sold all her property to pay for legal services when the case was in court earlier on.
Mary is appealing to the government or any well-wisher to help her hire a lawyer to represent her in court. She is sickly, suffers from hypertension and diabetes. She has no energy to defend herself before court.
The appeal case is set to be heard on 31st January 2023.
