Early this morning, a personal car was being driven along Thika- Garrissa highway, when it lost control, rolled and veered off the road but landed safely on a ditch near National Oil Petrol Station Bidco just before crossing the railway,Thika town.
According to Thika town reports, the passengers in the vehicle looked safe and uninjured but have been rescued and taken for check up in one of the hospitals within Thika.
Drivers are urged to drive carefully on roads ,especially this rainy season because most roads are slippery.
I also urge our drivers ,to be taking their vehicles for inspection, so that issues of mechanical problems, can be dealt with earlier before the unfortunate happens.
To our officers in the NTSA,please make sure that all roads and vehicles are Worthy to be used so that incidents of accidents can be reduced.
Passengers also you have a role of raising your voices when you notice any danger approaching while in vehicles. Don't sit and watch as you can end up losing your life.
