Just few days, a girl from Kenyatta university, Victoria Muthoni Theuri, went missing. Investigations to trace her started which yielded no fruits, all the way from unreachable phone calls by her parents to searching her from her friends.
While her family was looking for her , Alvo house residents started noticing some foul smell from one of the apartments which was locked alleged to be the girl's boyfriend. The caretaker was informed and immediately reported the matter to Kahawa Sukari Police Station. Unfortunately, police found Victoria's body in the sitting room and investigators said that her death must have happened for not less than three days ago.
Victoria's boyfriend was immediately traced and arrested. He had gone to his rural home for christmas. He was taken to Ruiru sub - county directorate of criminal investigations headquarters for questioning .
After the police inteviewed him, the boyfriend told the police that he left Victoria at his house on Christmas Day with peace and travelled to his parent's home . Police are now seeking to establish how the university student met her death as the boyfriend remains in captivity for further investigations.
