A Secondary school teacher from Sieka-Mgonga village has passed away moments after falling into the bottom of an empty grave in a freak accident in Sieka-Magongo village,Marani ward, Kitutu chache south in Kisii County.

According to eye witnesses they recall that the late Laban Nyambane fell into a freshly dug grave which was prepared to bury the late Callen Moige who was to be buried the following day.
The late was checking out its progress before the tragic accident happened.

The late Nyambane was then removed from the grave and rushed to Kisii teaching and referral hospital for medical examination, however, passed on hours after being admitted to the Medical Facility.
Neighbors and family members termed the incident unfortunate; to hold two successive funerals in such a short span of time.
