DCI has joined the whole country in mourning the Mwingi accident victims where more than 20 people lost their lives.

A bus was swept away while attempting to cross a swollen river Enziu in Nguni, Mwingi.
DCI has confirmed that the bus occupants were choir members as they extended their deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who perished.
"We extend our deepest sympathies to the families, friends and relatives of those who lost their loved ones in the tragic Mwingi incident, that involved a bus ferrying choir members earlier today. You are in our thoughts and prayers during these trying times," DCI said in part.
DCI has since advised Kenyans across the country to exercise extra caution while on roads, especially in regions recording high rains.
"Meanwhile, we advise motorists to exercise extra caution when using our roads, especially on flooded sections. Resist the temptation to drive past raging waters. Arrive alive," they added.
