A police officer based at kabete police station shot six people dead on Tuesday at 3:00am.

The police officer Benson Imbasi ,had first killed his wife by shooting her in the neck, before he went out of his own house and started shooting and killing innocent member of the public, whereby he killed five of them.

Purity cheruiyot,the security manager of Malini security services recounted how the incident happened.she was informed about the scene by one of her security guards at j Heights apartments.
“I was called by one of my juniors deployed at the apartments, who told me that there was a loud bang coming from one of the houses followed by a huge fire,” said Purity.
The security manager informed the police officers based at kabete police station who answered the emergency call immediately.
However,the injured victims were rushed to Eagle Hospital in kangemi for first aid and later transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital for special treatment.
Investigations are underway.
