Road Accident

Hundreds Stuck on Traffic Jam on Nairobi Expressway This Morning

The Nairobi Expressway cost billions of shillings to construct and it has been a magnificent wonder for many Kenyans as such a road has never been constructed in the country and the only other that comes close to it is the Thika Superhighway.

The Expressway runs all the way from Mlolongo to Waiyaki Way in Westlands, Nairobi in a journey that is measured to be about 27.1 kilometers.

Motorists are expected to pay to use the Expressway and despite objections from hundreds of thousands of Kenyans on social media, it seems that many motorists have registered to use the road.

This morning, according to reliable reports from the Nairobi Expressway, there has been a huge traffic jam that left hundreds of motorists stranded for a few hours.

As per the reports that we have had from the busy road, is that many motorists were stuck at an exit because of a jam that had formed there.

The Nairobi Expressway was built to ease up on the traffic troubles that are experienced on Mombasa Road in the morning, afternoon and evening of everyday.

However, the road might not have solved this problem thanks to the images being seen from the road this morning.

Hundreds of cars could be seen stranded on the road this morning with no solution in sight but to wait for the traffic jam to clear on its own.

It costs at least 300 Kenya shillings to use to the Nairobi Expressway for any motorist.
