The relatives of Dr. Gakara are yet to come to terms with the shocking incident which occurred on Saturday evening.
Mary Nyaguthii who is Dr. James Gakara's sister says that as a family, they still do not believe that their brother murdered his kids and later attempted to take his own life.
Mary Nyaguthii now says that the story surrounding the incident which is being advanced by authorities who responded to the situation does not add up.
The family now calls for a rigorous probe into the shocking incident to get to the bottom of the matter. On Monday, the family expressed their doubt saying that Dr. James Gakara could not have killed his children.
Mary Nyaguthii is Dr. James Gakara's elder sister. She says that the accounts given by the people who visited the scene left many gaps in it. Nyaguthii stated these words while speaking at the Nakuru Level Five Hospital where Dr. James Gakara is receiving medication under a tight police guard.
"As a family, we are yet to believe that my brother murdered his children and attempted to kill himself. The story that is being advanced by the authorities does not add up concerning the incident," stated Mary Nyaguthii
