Stephen Letoo’s has penned down a wise message to his son Leyian Santino Letoo as he turns two today.
The celebrated Citizen TV news reporter wrote on Facebook that he prays to god to defend and shield him.
Letoo accompanied the birthday message as he posted a photo of his son dressed on the traditional Maasai community attire.
The young chubby brown boy was on a red Maasai leso, beads wrapped around his neck and a herding stick on his shoulders.
Letoo says that the stick and beads signify a young pastoralist determined to spear the skies.
As a father, he also revealed the tough test awaiting the young boy as he grows day by day to become a man.
The tough test is a lion that the young boy must skin it alive in order to become a man and warrior.
Tales have it that a boy becomes a man when he kills a lion with just an arrow.
Fans of the journalist joined in wishing him happy birthday with the following comments.
