Recent report shows that five heavily armed robbers has raid the Nakuru branch of prime bank at the westside mall located along Nakuru's Kenyatta avenue and manged to walk away with 2.3 million Kenyan shillings.Following a police report that has been seen by the Nation,the robbers who were armed with home made gun,a hammer, knives and pangas forced their way into the banking hall where they held nine employee hostage before they mage away with the huge cash.
"The CCTV footage showed that a KK security guard on duty,Tobias Juma opened the main door of the bank for the robbers.After entering the baking hall,they then commandeered the members of staff to the toilets and locked them inside before they ransacked the drawers and stole 2.3 million Kenyan shilings,"read the police report.The report that has been files at the Nakuru indicates that the robbers injured a teller during the daylight heist.
