The boy who also hails from the same village is said to have been found just about 400 meters from the scene where the deceased girl was found.

According to the father of the girl Mr. Gordon Onyango who spoke to the authorities, he last saw his daughter on Friday night after meals. Mr. Onyango narrated that his daughter had left the house to go to the pit latrine which is within the homestead however few minutes later he had her scream as if she was in some kind of danger.

He then got out of the house to confirm what was going on but the scream of his daughter faded away and that’s when he last saw his daughter.
