Incidents of students engaging in criminal activities continue to be on a worrying rise in the country over the last few weeks if recent happenings are to go by. Recently, a High School student hit his Principal with a nail on the head after being sent home for school fees, and now there is another similar case - this time involving a fellow student.
A rogue form two student at Kibera secondary School is currently cooling his hot heels in police custody after killing his friend over minor reasons, authorities have confirmed.
As TV47 reports, the suspect who this writer will not name because he is a minor, killed his friend following a disagreement over a flash disk ( an external storage device used to store files) at Gatekwera region within Kibera sub-county.
According to Sarang'ombe location chief Edwin Otwori, the suspect used a kitchen knife to take away the life of his friend and Surrendered to police immediately after commiting the heinous act.
He then surrendered to Kibera DC police officers on Sunday evening after committing the act.” he disclosed.
