Rico Ngare, the commander of Kericho County Police, verified the incident and said the driver had lost control, causing the car to go off the road and roll multiple times.
"At the time of the collision, the driver lost control of the bus. According to Ngare, one male and three females perished.
To find the bus driver who vanished after the collision, police have started a manhunt.
"We're trying to find him. We admonish PSV drivers to drive carefully and watch out for their passengers' wellbeing, " Ngare continued.
While those who were reportedly dead were brought to a morgue, the injured passengers were taken to a neighboring hospital.
