Bad news has been delivered to all drivers using the Eldoret-Malaba highway this evening following an incident that has made that road be blocked. According to the latest news, a trailer has turned few meters from the Mwamba market, and now many drivers have stood there for some time waiting for the lorry to be taken out of that place.
This comes few days after two accidents were reported in Machakos County where they were caused by careless driving. Many people are losing their lives daily In our country, and this shows that traffic police need to pull up their socks and arrest those who are putting other people's lives in danger.
Makueni County residents in Kibwezi town also addressed this issue a few days ago urging the Kenya National Highway Authority to ensure that bumps are built across the Kibwezi-Kitui highway because many people including students have been killed by vehicles when trying to cross that road.
