Several innocent Kenyans are losing their lives in tragic road accidents that happen on various highways across country with the Mombasa Nairobi highway being the most dangerous from the world's ranking.
Today, two people have lost their lives after the boda boda they were travelling on was hit and crashed by a bus at Kivandani in Matuu, Machakos County.
According to Citizen TV news reports, the bus which was being driven at a high speed while heading to its destination rammed into the motorcycle which was carrying two occupants.
The reports claim that one person who was aboard the boda boda was left nursing injuries as he was rushed to hospital.
This accident has left the residents of Kivandini ask the National Traffic and Safety Authorities (NTSA) and Kenya National Highway Authorities (KNHA) to put speed bumps on the road to prevent such accidents to occur again.
May they rest in peace.
