Residents of Irembu village, Maragwa, Muranga county were left in shock after a 33 year old man identified as Moses Mwangi was stabbed to death by his elder brother.
His widow Alice, a mother to two young kids revealed that her brother in law who is still at large threatened her while holding a panga but she managed to escape.
When her husband tried defending her, he ran after him with a knife.
Sadly, the deceased fell down while running away.
His brother stabbed him multiple times. His last words were "My brother why are you killing me?". Sadly, the suspect continued stabbing him till he bled to death.
There were no issues between the two. The intention of the murder still remains unclear.
The family now wants police to arrest the suspect who has been in hiding since the inhumane act. They suspect that he was under the influence of alcohol or bhang.
