The recent News gang session has ended in style as journalists Jamila Mohammed, Yvonne Okwara, Linus Kaikai and Francis Gachuri made a crucial petition on behalf of millions of Kenyans.
The session had been dominated by the BBI final fall talks, each journalist giving views on what happened to BBI since its inception and death.
As the interactive session came to an end, the journalists gave a joint parting shot.
They petitioned the court systems to look into the crucial matter of skyrocketing food prices and generally the cost of living.
" We appreciate the energy you have placed in the BBI matter from the start to the end. We make a petition that similar energy be directed towards solving the puzzle of increasing cost of living for the common mwananchi, " read Jamila Mohammed in part.
Indeed, such a petition is crucial as life has become unbearable to most Kenyans. If the BBI can be given such a massive attention, then matters economy deserve even much more.
