An electronic engineer, John Gichuki was laid to rest in emotional send-off today at Kamangura area, Gakawa Ward, Kieni in Nyeri County.
John died in road accident after a lorry rammed into his car along the Nairobi-Nanyuki highway last week.
The accident occurred 15kms away from Nairobi town, after the driver of the Nanyuki-bound lorry reportedly lost control and rammed into his car.
His death shocked the whole village who mourned him as a young man who was recently employed.
The tributes flowed in causing his wife to lower her head, the silver hat on her head shielding her face, and hold a handkerchief up to her eyes and nose.
The tears flowed freely causing her sister, a teacher to put her arm around her waist in a bid to comfort her.
"My husband was one of the strongest, bravest, and kindest humans to grace this planet. Without him, I wouldn't be here today, I wouldn't be the person I am, and I wouldn't have the life I have. She is everything to me, and more, and there's no way I could ever quantify the importance he's held in my life. I will miss you dearly," she mourned.
Operanewshub creators also sent their messages of condolences to the bereaved family.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
