Photos of two bright pupils who perished in a grisly road accident emerged online leading to a somber mood among Kenyans.
According to reports, the late Ian Mwangi and precious Mwangi met their death in the fateful day when the school bus they were travelling in lost control from unknown reasons and hit a tree beside the road.
The accident occurred near Delview along Thika-Kandara road. The two were among several pupils who were badly injured. They were rushed to the hospital but unfortunately passed away while receiving treatment.
Indeed it is very sad losing such young souls, it is also painful to their parents who hoped that one day they will become adults and maybe help them. We convey our condolences to their families.
Friends and relatives are meeting at Victoria hotel in Thika for prayers and burial arrangements ahead of their send-off. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
