Martha Karua who is the leader of NARC Kenya and the Raila's running mate today posted her photos attending maendelo ya wanawake event in Garissa county today on her twitter page and wrote that Maendeleo ya Wanawake has played an integral all in advancing and promoting women through out the decades. Many women and girls today enjoy the benefits of this women’s movement. It has been an honour attending the 70th Celebrations of @MYWO_KENYA in Garissa today.
Kachajo tweeted, "You go for cheap partisan organizations unatuambia maendelea ya anga ndui. Kwendeni uko walikuwa wapi for the past years. A lot of women are going through shit huku mashinani mkikalia viti zinazunguka uko Nairobi na mishahara nono ati maendeleo nyef nyef. Don't be blind Martha."
Ken tweeted, "Maendeleo ya wanawake died a natural death. Azimio is trying to reanimate it now for political reasons & not for promoting women agenda. Let us not use women for selfish ends. It's wrong."
Kenya tweeted, "There's optics value in doing well in campaigns beyond Mt Kenya, although that's our bastion it can take appreciation beyond one's borders for recognition as a prophet at home."
