According to the area Mp Rigathi Gachagua, a man was gunned down by some criminals he had offered a ride.
"The killings and shootings in Mathira are becoming unbearable. When the police are not shooting innocent people; thugs kill them in turn. This evening around 5 p.m armed thugs hired a bodaboda rider at Kabiruini Shopping Center.
They asked to be taken to Maria where they shot the rider and took off with his brand new motorbike leaving his lifeless body on the road. Police were called and though the police station is 3km away the body lay on the road for two hours.
It has taken my intervention with police headquarters for them to respond. Kiamariga Police Station is incapable or unwilling to provide security to the residents. The senseless killing of boda boda riders with no police action is unacceptable".
George... The so called thugs are in their midst, so they have to coperate and willingly to sarrender them out to the law enforcement officers. Rigathe police are not agels.
Joan... If investigation done well you will some of those police officers are among those thugs that's why they take time to respond.
Muthoni... Why do you always blame police officers..???? You want them to kill then wakujiwe na human rights,,!! Nowadays wamechanuka,,,,,why risk your life for ungrateful government..... Security start with your people.
