The expressway was constructed in order to reduce the traffic congestions that is always experienced in Nairobi. However,it seems there is much to be done to reduce the traffic congestion. The post by Kenyans.co.ke has caused several reactions online as one stated that president Uhuru Kenyatta should take another loan and construct an underground Expressway.
One reacted by stating that the system needs to be streamlined otherwise it beats logic as someone complained of spending one hour on the traffic jam despite paying.Someone suggested that there is need to improve the exit tolls.
