Another Tragedy has struck the country as a police officer went on a shooting spree killing his wife and five other people. The incident has left other patients in shock with some of the workers in the hospice scampering for safety.
Confirming the incident, Kabete Sub-County Police Commander Francis Wahome said that the unnamed police officer turned the gun on himself and died minutes later. It has also not been established what drove him to commit the heinous act.
It is further reported that the incident took place at J Apartments near N Market, where the police officer lived with his wife.
"He inflicted injuries on the wife's neck before he went to his car before he put the cock of the gun before his chin and fired," an officer privy to the matter said.
The case has yet again put the National Police Service in the limelight following similar cases in the past. Caroline Kangogo hit the headlines after killing her colleagues before shooting herself in her parent's home.
