West Pokot County Governor Hon Prof John Lonyangapuo on Tuesday evening met a deligation at his home for a high profile meeting on matters of benefit to the people pf West Pokot.
The County Boss has revealed details of his meeting with the deligation from the North Rift Water Works who paid him an inaugural visit led by the Chairman David Chakwemo.
During the meeting with the deligation, Governor Lonyangapuo received a brief of the programs the North Rift Water Works is currently undertaking in West Pokot County.
Speaking after the meeting, Prof Lonyangapuo assured residents that his administration is determined to work hand in hand with the team with a view of increasing access to clean water throughout the county.
"I hosted a delegation from North Rift Valley Water Works this evening led by its Board chair David Chemweno. During the inaugural visit to West Pokot, Mr Chemweno gave a brief on the programs being undertaken by the water agency in our county. My administration will work closely with the them in a bid to increase access to clean water," Governor Lonyangapuo said.
