There is this worrying trend going on about Kenyan police taking their own lives. This is due to severe depression they get in their jobs.
The police should be seek advice from anyone else before it's too late. The Kenyan government should invest in constructing mental hospitals. Or any special psychiatric hospital for the purpose of counseling our police.
The trend has seen many police officers on a killing spree because of depression. Si kupenda kwao, it's because of the worries.
Another measure to curb mental health issues is by relieving rogue policemen off their duties. Rogue policemen are the ones majorly affected by depression.
Lastly, the government should take legal actions against rogue policemen. They should be locked away after being tested in the mental hospital to ensure they are fit to stand trial.
In following up with all these measures, then we can curb depression among our men in blue.
