Four mutilated bodies have been retrieved from different rivers in Kiambu County in the last 24 hours.
The latest report raises many questions over the unfortunate ongoing murders whether the people are killed in other areas and later thrown in dams and rivers.
Yesterday evening, the mutilated bodies of two unknown men together with one woman were recovered by the residents floating in Chania River, which separates Kiambu and Machakos counties.
The bodies were transferred to General Kago Funeral Home in Thika. Upto now, no one has confirmed them.
On Monday morning, the mutilated body of an unknown man was found from Ruiru River. It was later taken to the City Morgue.
Ruiru OCPD Cecilia Kemboi who confirmed the incident told the press over the phone that the body decomposed beyond recognition, adding that probes are underway to unravel the crucial leads to his death.
"We've confirmed our officers have recovered the body of unknown man from Ruiru River today morning and probes have been launched to establish the cause of his death. It is sad no family has confirmed the body and we transferred it to City Morgue," Ms Kemboi told the press.
