IEBC CEO Takes Drastic Move To Save Cherera Four, Accuses His Deputy Of Doing This Against The Law

According to the report, the team found that the two did not act alone and that one of the top leaders of the Secretariat was assisted by the Vice Chairman Ruth Kulundu. According to Hussein Marjan, Kulundu was accused of colluding with four men and arranging a meeting for the four without realizing that he was ordered by CEO Hussain Marjan. He said it was a sin.

Marjan decided in one of the plenary sessions that commission will submit four responses to the Supreme Court application. Finally, Marjan tried to fire him for misconduct and identity theft, and received a letter citing both problems and asking for an explanation.

In his letter, Marjan said that Kulundu was deported because of the gravity of his crime. Following the Supreme Court's confirmation of William Ruto's election as president, Cherera and his team claimed that the election process they had earlier questioned was fair and transparent.
