Residents of Umoja Estate along Outering road will be forced to spend the night out in the cold after hungry flames of Fired devoured their Property at the Donholm estate. The fire reportedly started a few minutes to 7 Pm and continued to spread at an alarming speed with residents standing helplessly watching their properties up in flames.
Two fire engines were called to the incident only for them to double the tragedy after one of the engines accidentally crashed a man's legs. According to initial reports, the man was directing the lorry driver on how best to place the vehicle.
The man's legs were crashed at the thighs and have been taken to the hospital. The fire has already razed the Jam rescue restaurant which has collapsed to the ground.
It is unclear what led to the fire. No casualties have been reported so far.
