Only moments of the country yet to absorb the horrific accident, that happened in Mwingi taking the life of numerous people including 11 members of the same family.
Kenyans have woken up to more tormenting nes, this is after our colleagues that are working day and night digging every corner of the country have picked up sad details of a police officer that has managed to kill his wife and several other people after emptying his gund on them.
The incident was reported to us by a credible news merchant, making us aware of the place it all went down. This incident happened in Kabete after gunshots sounds rented the air moments into the night.
After the guns sounds went silent, a body of an officer and 5 other people lay down in a pool of blood, as detectives and local police at Kabete responded swiftly to the gun sounds.
The area Sub-County Police Commander Francis Wahome has confirmed the incident, although much of the crime scene information will be released soon.
Officers are drilling neighbours and several people that are believed to have intermingled with the officer before he chose to end the life of his wife and the rest.
We are keeping touch with the investigative team. As we struggle to nullify every information to the last bit, stay tuned brothers and sisters not in and out of service.
