The Clearest Natural Fresh Water Lake In The World With A Visibility of 80Metres

The amazing and beautiful and lake is called Blue lake(Romairewhenua).It is found in the Nelson lake national park in the northern region Tasma of Southern Alps in New Zealand country.It has a depth of 8.5metres,a volume of 180,000cubic centimeters covering a surface area of 1,180metres.The water from the lake comes from Sabine River and the nearing glacier lake Constance.It is owned by Crown from 2014.

It is characterised by blue violet hues, boomerang shaped from North to N.West each arm stretching to 200metres.The water is cold with 5 to 8degrees celcius.The lake was declared the clearest for fresh water in the world by a study in 2011 with a visibility of 80metres which is the maximum.It is believed that the water is filtered from the nearby two dams after passing through landslide debris.The water is considered sacred and swimming,washing or bathing is not allowed.
