Another Caroline Kagongo?- Fear After Cop Shoots Dead His Colleague and Escapes With a Loaded AK47

Barely two months after Kenyans were treated to some shocking police drama, another cop has emerged with some shocking news hitting the airwaves.

According to earlier reports, cops have launched a manhunt for a police officer who is accused of shooting dead a colleague at a police station in Laikipia County. 

The officer was reported to have shot dead his colleague, identified as Leonard Ojwang, on Wednesday, August 18 at Doldol Police Station.

According to police sources in the region who spoke to the media, the officer made away with a loaded AK-47 rifle shortly after the heinous act. The suspect has been identified as Titus Keen, a police officer attached to Doldol Police Station. 

The region police boss however said they were yet to establish the deadly shooting's motive and why the officer did so.

Lately, police officers have been on the spot after they were found doing some unbelievable things.

Around two months ago a police officer friend Nakuru hit the news waves after she reportedly murdered two men in cold blood.

Reports then indicated that Caroline Kangogo shot dead her colleague John Ogweno in Nakuru and later killed another man inside a lodging in Kiambu county.

Kagongo was later found dead at her parents' home by her mother, it is said the killer cop took her own life inside a bathroom.

At the scene a loaded gun was recovered and an alleged suicide note inside her Kabambe phone.

Her death and Alleged suicide led to a serious uproar on social media with netizens and Kenyans calling for a serious probe.

However, during her autopsy, the government pathologist determined that Kagongo died from a single shot to her head.

It is however yet to be established if the rogue cop killed herself or she was murdered as many alleged.

Ballistics experts are yet to release the findings from the scene, according to reports, some swaps from her hands to determine if she really took the shot.


Cases of murder and shocking killings among cops have been on the rise with questions raised as to what could be happening in society.

Police officers seem to be highly affected with a high number Killing their spouses and colleagues before taking their lives.

Dr. Fred Matiang'i had recommended that police officers go through mandatory.

Officers have been urged to learn how to solve their problems amicable using less violence.
