Kenyans online have elicited mixed reactions after 4 Kenyan Police Officers were arrested by detectives for sending themselves money via mobile online application from a they caught at night past curfew hours.
The man was found by 4 Police Officers in Kiambu County who were on patrol to ensure the curfew rules are effective. If one is found outside past the curfew hours, one can be fined Ksh10,000 or 3 months imprisonment. But with corrupt police officers in Kenya, you can bribe them with an amount of money and they will set you free.
This police officers from Kiambu didnot follow right procedure by they took the phone of the man who was caught past curfew hours and sent Ksh1,030 to themselves. Now this ignorance and stupidity act, it may cost them their job as they were arrested by DCI and they are set to be arraigned in court.
Here are some of the mixed reactions from Kenyans.
