A mix of rules is being experienced at Kenya's capital city as the hawkers, parking boys and boda-boda operators set their own rules while county government has also different ones. The three groupings have indeed turned Nairobi their small kingdom.
This comes as one the group, the boda-boda, turned pedestrian and cycling corridors set up by Nairobi Metropolitan Services as their stages. Kimathi street, Kenyatta avenue and city center are gambling at the ruthless group's mercy.
The pedestrian and cycling corridors set up by the Nairobi Metropolitan Services (NMS) have been turned into boda-boda stages. The riders park right inside the heart of the city center with Kimathi Street and Kenyatta Avenue now at the mercy of the ruthless group.
This has resulted to rise in crime cases as the comedian Timothy Kimani alia 'Njugush' was robbed by an armed gang along University way. The Nairobi Governor should act quickly to restore order less, it will be a hub of self-governed citizen creating a security threat area.
