Michael Wanyonyi is a Kenyan man who relocated to Uganda several decades ago and lost touch with his home.
He has since got old, weary, and unable to fend for himself, forcing him to become a beggar on Sassa road, in Mukono, about 30 minutes east of the capital Kampala.
Henry Mutebe, the well-wisher who made it upon himself to help Wanyonyi, told Hillary Lisimba that the man is in a bad medical condition and lives as a beggar.
According to Mutebe, the distressed man remembers that he comes from Bungoma and that he was living with his sister, who worked at Mulago National Referral Hospital in Uganda.
