A man who pretends to be a woman was among the people arrested this morning as they prepared to commit a felony in Langata.Peter Omweno Momanyi 24 was arrested with John Muchiri Kimani 25 as they defied orders of a police officer to stop.
As the officers was taking a close look at the suspects he noticed something was not right with the appearances of the suspect who was dressed as a woman.Immediately the suspects took to their heels leading to the officers running after them . Unluckily for them they were caught up by the officers who arrested them immediately after a short run .The two were arrested few meters from Mbagathi bridge and crude weapons recovered from them including knives and a chain.
The man who pretended to be woman was found with a knife and a chain in his waist.The detectives in Langata have confirmed that the two are among the criminals who jog around along Langata Mbagathi roads who commit many crimes and troubles the citizens.The DCI are looking into the matter for further details.
