Police Hunt Bar Owner Linked To The Murder Of A 52-Year-Old Man In Migori

Police in Migori County are looking for a bar owner who is suspected of killing and dumping the body of a 52-year-old man near Nyabikongori hamlet in Kuria East Sub County on Tuesday morning.

The body of the deceased, identified as Paul Monanga, was discovered deserted near a pub where he was allegedly killed, according to Migori County Police Commander Mark Wanjala.

Wanjala added, "The bloodstains indicate that the victim was allegedly killed inside the bar and his corpse dumped outdoors."

According to the police chief, the bar owner who has been linked to the murder left after outraged townspeople threatened to lynch him and has since taken refuge in a safe house.

Despite the fact that the reason of the murder has still to be determined, Wanjala added that police have initiated a manhunt for the alleged bar owner where the incident took place,police officers are under investigation of the murder
