Police yesterday exchanged bullets with bandits in Laikipia after an armed robbery went side ways,its being claimed that Bandits were sighted at Laikipia town on suspicion of plotting to steal in a retail shop but were seen,on noticing they have been seen by police officers they started opening fire.
Its believed that those bandits were spotted when they were trying force their entry inside a shop when GSU forces saw them and started exchanging bullets,on noticing they will be overpowered they run for their lives,traders in Laikipia have been complaining to law enforcers on increased assaults and robbery with from attackers who are well equipped.
Yesterday's exchange of fire was hauled by locals saying those bandits have been giving them sleepless nights lately,this indicates that bandits are out of their comfort zone after experiencing lack of resources in hideouts.Residents of Laikipia have continued asking police officers to remain vigilant after the shoot out.
