A dramatic scene was witnessed in Eldoret Town when police officers caught 3 men transporting bags of rotten meat suspected to be headed to a renown Mutura Joint even as Health Officials cautioned kenyans against eating what comes their way.
According to the reports by the Nation , it is reported that the men who operate a certain Mutura business transported the meat from Nairobi even though they maintained that the meat wasn't for Mutura or rather consumption purposes.
All the same, Members of the public became suspicious when they had a foul smell coming out from the sacks before alerting the police officers who were on their normal patrols.
He warned public transport operators that stern action will be taken against them if their vehicles are found to be aiding in transporting substandard products.
“Some of them are transporting contraband goods. They should ensure that whatever they are given to transport has proper documentation,” he said.
