Police have arrested a man after he torched his sister-in-law’s house when he was ordered to vacate.
The 22-year-old, had moved into his late brother's house after a family decision to cleanse the homestead.
According to sources, after performing the traditional cleansing,the widow asked the young man to leave her house, but he refused.
In a fit of fury, he threatened to take his own life or turn down the house if asked to stay away from his sister-in-law.
officer Gloria Mulele said the 22-year-old made true his threat and torched the widow’s house after returning from a drinking spree at 10 pm.
