Demonstrations Expected to Rock in Nairobi County, here is why

Residents of Nairobi have threatened to demonstrate in the streets of Nairobi County in the coming week. This will be to attempt to force President William Ruto to lower the cost of living. The head of state is now handed a new and fresh headache.

President of the Bunge la Mwananchi, Mr Alvin Okoth and some Nairobi residents have claimed that the current status and state of the economy is becoming more unbearable as the cost of living is rising day by day. The residents have threatened to turn the Nairobi city as a field of demonstrations. This will come after if president Dr William Ruto does not order prices of unga, fuel, electricity and other basic needs commodities.

Mr Okoth vowed that if President William Ruto will not have reduced the cost of unga and fuel, they will be on streets on Monday. He termed that mama mboga are suffering. He also urged the President to look on matters to do with tokens (electricity) as the cost is high.

Mr. Okoth also urged the President to serve Kenyans in an equal manner. Hence, he should not discriminate if they voted for him or not. Okoth complained on why president William Ruto offered riftvalley and Mount Kenya regions many cabinet positions than in the luo Nyanza region.
