A Man Hacks His Grandmother, 70,To Death Before Killing Her Goats, Cows, Donkey In Homa Bay

Residents of Ruga Village in Homa Bay county have been left in utter shock and disbelief after a 70-year-old grandmother was killed under unclear circumstances by her grandson.

Priscilla was hacked to death by her 24-year-old son using an axe on Tuesday morning before turning to domestic animals. Following the incident, five goats were killed, three cows, and injured a donkey belonging to his grandmother.

This is one of the saddest things I bet you've probably heard, a grandson turning against her grandmother for no apparent reason. It is believed that the first attacked her grandmother using a panga, and when she fell, he opted now to use an axe to continue the attack.

Confirming the incident, Homa Bay Police Commander said that the suspect was apprehended and taken to home bay police Station pending a police investigation. The body of the deceased was moved to the county referral morgue.
