According to a recent news that has been shared by citizen TV, a middle aged woman only known as Elizabeth Musembi has been arrested while planning to steal a baby at the Kenyatta National hospital.
The woman disguised herself to look pregnant with clothes on her stomach and she was even carrying the maternity book, and was entering the Labor ward when the security guard suspected something wasn't right.
In her defence she said, she doesn't have a womb and so she heard that she could get a child from a woman there who didn't want the baby and so she disguised herself to look pregnant so that people at her place wouldn't suspect her, she only wanted to have a child who was neglected there.
Police are investigating the incidence because it is believed that she was there to steal a new born baby, as the investigations go on. She will be spending some days awaiting investigation.
This has received mixed reactiinsnfrom Kemya.
