The Central Business District of the metropolitan city of Nairobi is one of the busiest areas in Nairobi. For this reason, security of Nairobi CBD should be maintained at a very high level.
According to report by Ma3Route today, it has come to public attention that insecurity in Nairobi CBD and other streets is on the rise. Nairobi residents are now living with fear.

The report have it that some smugglers are hijacking members of the public at Moi Avenue, Nairobi CBD. The smugglers are collaborating with people pretending to be police officers wearing civilian clothes. They are also reported to work in partnership with "kanjos".
The new development is posing great challenge to businessmen and other people working in Nairobi CBD. People in Nairobi CBD and other streets are asked to be very careful with individuals they interact with. Relevant authorities led by the Nairobi governor Honorable Johnson Sakaja should look into the matter and address it urgently.
