The National Police Service has confirmed the arrest of a man who has illegally been in possession of AP police uniform.The police have identified the suspect as Clinton Ochieng.Clinton was arrested within Nyamasaria and Sira villages in Ugunja sub-county,Siaya county.According to the NPS,the police were conducting an intelligence led operation in the village.
The police were able to recover Administration Police service uniform illegally owned by Clinton.Apart from the uniform,the police also recovered a 42" Hisense tv, 32" SINQT tv, furniture, utensils, suitcase with clothes and mobile phones.Clinton is suspected to have stolen the goods.

Besides the uniform,Clinton had a hammer, wrecking bar and pliers which he allegedly used to break into people's houses.Clinton Ochieng will be arraigned in court on Monday.The stolen goods are at Ugunja police station awaiting identification by respective owners.The locals are reported to have issued complaints leading to the arrest of Ochieng.
